To upgrade the Puppet Plug-in for VMware vRealize Automation, the previous version must be completely removed. After removing the plug-in and installing the latest version, you must configure the Puppet vRO endpoint.

Solution
To remove the plug-in, use the following steps.
Before you begin: Back up any customizations to Puppet workflows.

Log into the vRO client.

Click Tools > User Preferences and ensure the Delete non empty folder permitted option is checked.

In the Packages tab, right click the Puppet plug-in package,
com.puppet.o11n.plugin.puppet
, then click Delete element with content. -
In the Actions tab, if there are any
com.puppet.o11n.plugin.puppet*
items, right click on them, then click Delete. -
In the Resources tab, right click on the Puppet folder, then click Delete.
