A new way to upload files to Puppet Support
We’re excited to announce a new solution for uploading files to Puppet Support: a managed file transfer server (MFT). This provides a more secure, streamlined solution for uploading files to Support, including a browser user interface. In addition, our MFT server replaces links to Box.
When you need to upload files as part of a Support case, we will send you an email invitation to use the server. Following the invitation leads you to create an account and gives you access to a private, secure folder on our server. Use your account for any support case that requires uploading files by logging into https://mft.puppet.com.

Use the puppet_operational_dashboards module to monitor your Puppet performance
Configure Grafana, Telegraf, and InfluxDB to collect and display metrics from Puppet services using the puppetlabs-puppet_operational_dashboards module. You can view metrics for Puppet Server performance, heap memory and uptime, submission times for catalogs, facts, and reports to PuppetDB, and more. Use the metrics to help solve performance issues.

Announcement: Older Support Knowledge Base articles are now in an archive
This summer, we moved older articles to our docs-archive repository. We want to continue to help you troubleshoot issues on older versions of our products but make it easier for you to find newer content on the Support Portal. Of course, you can always find documentation for our newer, supported products on our docs site and here at the Support Portal.
At our archive, you'll find an easy-to-navigate list of articles covering Puppet Enterprise versions earlier than 2018.1. If you can't find an older article there, it might still be here; some of the articles at the Support Portal cover older versions of PE (but also include newer versions).
Help us improve our Support Knowledge Base content
Have you found an issue with a knowledge base article? Are you having trouble solving an issue with PE, or do you want to make a suggestion or request something new to see?
Comments are now open on all KB articles, and we are eager to get your feedback and input. Near the bottom of each article, you’ll find a How can we improve this article? section where you can tell us what you’re thinking.
We read every comment and work to make sure you’re finding the help you need.
