Puppet Development Kit (PDK) 2.0.0 now available
PDK 2.0.0 is now available. This release includes support for Puppet 7 and Ruby 2.7, as well as improved Facter compatibility, new commands to generate custom facts and functions, and more. Be sure to upgrade to 2.0.0 before the next Puppet Enterprise release.
Supported module support lifecycle updates
All good things must eventually come to an end, and for Puppet 5, that end was in January following the PE LTS release track. See the Puppet Platform lifecycle for more information and the projected EOL dates for current versions. Following the Supported module support lifecycle, we are working on removing Puppet 5 compatibility from our modules. We do offer a three-month transition period, but after that you won’t be able to file module support requests if you’re still running on Puppet 5!
If you haven’t already done so, start your upgrades now and, as always, let us know how we can help you.
