You recently renewed your license for Puppet Enterprise. When you look at the License page in the console, there’s no end date.

Solution
If there’s no end date in the License page in the console, you might have a perpetual license.
Most of our customers have a subscription-based license. Our subscription-based licenses last for a specified period of time and include a software license and support from our team. If you have a subscription-based license, the License page includes an end date.
However, some of our customers have a perpetual license. If you have a perpetual license, there is not an end date in the console License page.
A perpetual license includes a software license and a year of support from our team. If you have a perpetual license you can use the last version of PE released during your Support subscription period forever, even if you decide to not renew your Support subscription. You can renew Support annually to ensure that you remain current with product features, security and other software updates.
To check what kind of license you have and the start date of your Support subscription, open your license.key
file in a text editor. You can find the key on the primary server at /etc/puppetlabs/license.key
or in an email from Puppet. If you’ve lost your license key, please contact your account manager.
