Resolve a “Permission denied” error in Continuous Delivery for Puppet Enterprise when SELinux is set to “enforced”

When running a Docker job, you receive a permission denied error when SELinux is set to enforced.

Error messages

When you run a Docker job and have SELinux set to enforced:

/bin/bash: /cd4pe_job/JOB: Permission denied

Version: 4.x

Solution

To resolve the permission denied error, change SELinux from enforced to permissive.
